M.B. B.S., D.C.H., D.F.F.P. qualified in medicine form the University of Delhi in 1985. Subsequently she trained in paediatrics and for a short while practiced as a paediatrician. She then trained in general practice in the UK, predominantly in the Thanet area and joined The Limes Medical Centre early in 2005. She has extensive experience in the treatment of children's diseases and she is also trained in child protection procedures. She provides family planning services such as IUCD and Implanon insertion with a view to doing them in an integrated well woman clinic.  Dr Jain is a GP Trainer and participates in the practice Anti-coagulant Clinic.

Gay Fischer is one of our Mental Health Nurses employed by Margate and Mocketts Wood PCN who works at The Limes Medical Centre on a Wednesday afternoon each week

Kate Topley is one of our Mental Health Nurses employed by Margate and Mocketts Wood PCN and works at The Limes Medical Centre on a Tuesday and a Thursday each week

Our healthcare assistants  are trained to carry out ECGs, blood tests, new patient medical checks, routine blood pressure checks and 24hr ambulatory blood pressure assessments.

The prescription team will assist if you have queries concerning the arrangements you can make for the issue of your repeat prescriptions, their collection by the Pharmacy and home deliveries etc. 

Ancillary Staff

Our other loyal staff members are a full time and part-time secretary, a computer data entry clerk and receptionists. 

Jeffrey Addo is our Clinical Pharmacist who supports our prescription team and is available for medication reviews and queries.

Emma Foord is our Pharmacy Technician who supports our prescription team.

The district nursing team consists of trained nurses and health care assistants. The service provides 24 hour high quality care based on the needs and priorities of the practice population. Patients are supported and encouraged to maximise independence and to promote health. District nurses have an open referral system and messages can be left between 08.30 and 16.30, Monday to Friday at the surgery by telephoning 01843 222788. The out-of hours services can be contacted through South East Health.
